Citrin Cooperman Adds Maier Markey & Justic
The deal expands the top 25 firm's presence in the New York City metro area, as well as its Business Process Outsourcing practice.

Top 25 accounting firm Citrin Cooperman has acquired Maier Markey & Justic (MMJ), a White Plains, NY-based CPA firm, expanding the firm’s presence in the New York City metro area.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
As a result of the acquisition, four MMJ partners and more than 40 employees have joined Citrin Cooperman.
“MMJ is fantastically aligned with our firm in both service offerings and industry expertise,” Alan Badey, CEO of Citrin Cooperman, and Mike Zyborowicz, managing partner of the firm’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) practice, said in a joint statement. “Their team of professionals are incredibly skilled at providing the high-quality, strategic guidance our clients have come to expect from Citrin Cooperman, and we look forward to continuing to expand these offerings in the NYC metro area.”
With a strong focus in providing outsourced accounting, controllership, CFO, human resources, and taxation services to clients in the not-for-profit, distribution, and professional services industries, the addition of MMJ bolsters Citrin Cooperman’s growing BPO practice, which currently provides outsourced solutions to real estate, professional services, financial services, not-for-profit, and healthcare clients across the country.
MMJ was established more than 30 years ago to provide business owners and entrepreneurs financial and business management needs.
